Bob Wilkinson is a seasoned expert in institutional research and effectiveness. He has spent his career aligning strategic planning, institutional research, institutional accreditation, and assessment within the broader context of institutional effectiveness.

He most recently served as Executive Director for Institutional Research at Daytona State College where he was responsible for all external data reporting and serving as the Florida College System (FCS) Data Coordinator for the institution. He also oversaw all IPEDS and other federal reporting in this role.

Prior to Daytona State College, Dr. Wilkinson served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Institutional Effectiveness, Assessment, and Accreditation at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. In Indiana, he coordinated all assessment activities, chaired the institution’s Higher Learning Commission Assessment Academy team, developed institutional dashboards to guide decision-making, and provided direct support to both the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. He also provided oversight for the academic budget process, academic program review, and new degree program proposals. Dr. Wilkinson also served for two decades as the Director of Office of Analysis, Planning and Assessment at Pittsburg State University in Kansas.

He earned his doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
